My specific expertise is in Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing and its applications. I have experience in application of GIS for transportation (GIS-T) and site selection for transport infrastructures. Moreover, I interested in development and management of logistics and supply chain and transportation systems areas
Doctoral Thesis Title: Analysis of Transportation Systems for Agricultural Products in Thailand
..
Objective of Research (1) Analysis of the best routes for rice transport from Surin or Nakhon Sawan province to export gateways, (2) Analysis of the suitable provinces for establishing the rice export centers and (3) Calculation of the rice transport costs
Abstract in brief: The results showed that both shortest and fastest routes are proposed as the suitable routes for transporting rice from Surin to Bangkok port and from Surin to Laem Chabang port. And only the shortest route is proposed to transport rice from Surin to Koh Si Chang port. In Nakhon Sawan, both shortest and fastest routes are also proposed as the suitable routes from Nakhon Sawan to Bangkok port and from Nakhon Sawan to Laem Chabang port while the shortest route is proposed as the suitable route from Nakhon Sawan to Koh Si Chang port. The suitable provinces for establishing the rice export centers in the central region, north, northeast, east, west and south that are analyzed by using the relative weights by the author are Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya, Uttaradit, Khonkaen, Chonburi, Prachuab Khirikhan and Pattani, respectively. Almost all suitable provinces are very pleasing except in the south. Then, the relative weights by experts are used to re-analyze. The results are similar to the authors results except in the south which is changed from Pattani to Nakhon Si Thammarat. Finally, the transport costs before proposing the rice export centers in Surin and Nakhon Sawan are less than after proposing the rice export centers in all routes
